Company History

Pleiades was founded in 1999 to develop new technologies for learning. Our objective is to decrease the price, and increase the quality of online learning until most of the world can earn a widely respected credential at any stage of life. Our research and development has focused on online and mixed delivery systems, and on virtual worlds and serious games, to reach this objective.

As naturally curious people, we want direct access to knowledge. We want to learn what we want, when we want. Pleiades is working towards a world in which learning is cheap, accessible, personalized, and recognized across institutional lines.
